E-Life 7 Featuring Michael Pennick and Many Special Guests to Release Debut Album Miked Up, Including Past and Present Members of The Exoutics, this Spring 2017
Three 2 Go Music introduces E-Life 7 Featuring Michael Pennick (EL7) and their debut album Miked Up. EL7 unites some of Western NY’s finest musicians on this release, including Michael Pennick on bass, Rodney Spears & Charlie Crymes Jr. on keyboards, guitarist Ron Walker, and drummer and percussionist Tim Webb. Special appearances by Ken Whitman (tenor sax), Walter Kemp III, Van Taylor (keyboards), Joey Diggs and Dee Osbourne (vocals) round out this stellar new 12-track album that spans Jazz, Soul, and R&B, all with a sound that remains unique to EL7. Miked Up will be released worldwide both physically and digitally by Three 2 Go Music on March 24, 2017.
EL7 is the brainchild of Ron Walker and Mike Pennick, both long time members of Buffalo Music Hall of Fame R&B recording artists The Exoutics. While contemplating their musical future longtime friends Ron and Mike decided it was time to explore their Jazz alter egos and discover what lies beneath the tender ballads and funky R&B grooves they had been writing for years. EL7 acknowledges the musical and spiritual influence of past and present members of The Exoutics, and after a brief discussion, it was agreed that their next project would highlight the talent of bassist Mike Pennick. Eventually, this led to the formation of EL7.
With extraordinary creativity and collaboration, the group conceived of and recorded Miked Up. Rodney’s unique keyboard accents are a perfect complement to the keyboard foundations played by Charlie. Tim’s intricate drum touch reinforces the rhythmic, melodic bass lines and spicy guitar licks. When blended together, what a unique sound! The project took several interesting twists and turns along the way, and each member shared creative ideas and opinions to help shape this outstanding release.
The resulting album captures the flavor and passion of each musician, and audiences will enjoy and appreciate this special blend of Jazz and R&B. Miked Upcovers the gamut of emotions, from the rhythm shifting jazz funk of “Chaos,” to the fun-filled, upbeat, and playful “Sunday Night.” The remake of Stevie Wonder’s “That Girl” and the intimate revelations of “Inner Beauty” and “Before the Storm” make this CD a pleasure to listen to, sure to appeal to the most demanding pallet. Buffalo, NY – Three 2 Go Music is thrilled to announce the release of All For Nothin, the debut album from J-Bella, available in stores and online worldwide on March 24, 2017. J-Bella is an artist and singer/songwriter who has made singing a passion that has influenced every facet of her life, and All For Nothin has a modern, soulful appeal that can be felt in singles such as the album’s title track.
Growing up listening to artists like Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston, J-Bella doesn’t sing just to be heard, but has even gone so far as to put her personal diary into lyrics from the new album, ensuring that every word is sung from the heart. Additional musical influences include Alicia Keys and Jennifer Hudson. “I love how they tell stories with their songs while they simultaneously blow audiences away with the beauty of their sound,” says J-Bella.
J-Bella has performed in various venues, including Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center, Coca-Cola Field, The Music Room, Starfield’s Cafe, The David Allen TV Show and The Historic Colored Musicians Club. Whether she is supporting local charity drives for large research efforts like Roswell Park Cancer Institute (which she frequented with her grandma), or spreading love and life through her music, J-Bella is driven to contribute to things bigger than herself. Following in the historic footsteps of the greats that have preceded her, J-Bella is poised to blaze a whole new trail with All For Nothin. There is plenty more to see from Jessica, and Three 2 Go Music is proud to introduce her memorable lyrics and emotional delivery to the world.
After the end of a very unhealthy relationship, J-Bella decided to do what she knows best, express herself through her music. She says, “It’s been like that for me since I was a child. My parents didn’t have very much money because there were six of us, and my dad was the one working while my mom stayed home and raised us. So, the house was always crazy and chaotic, but we loved each other. One Christmas my mom brought me a pink radio with the microphone when I was about seven years old, and after everyone would go to sleep I would record myself singing.”
This natural attraction to singing developed and J-Bella began writing her own songs. Her passion for musical expression inspired her to explore different types of music, composed of lyrics and sounds that made her feel good. This diverse taste shines through when you hear upbeat and catchy songs like “Shine,” blending together pop and R&B, and a variety of other influences including contemporary artists such as Adele and Sam Smith.
J-Bella is passionate about creating music that inspires others through her personal stories shared in her music. She is an evolving artist that looks forward to continued growth, and since being signed to the Three 2 Go Music label, J-Bella has had the opportunity to open for Grammy award nominated female trio SWV and perform at the Coca-Cola Field.

Singer/songwriter Amanda Abizaid is releasing a new EP in support of HelpPhilippineSchools.org, a non-profit organization that helps children get the best education possible through the betterment of existing schools, working “from the inside out.” Walking In Twos, featuring the legendary Stephen Stills, is a 7-track EP including two diverse mixes of the titular song, which was inspired by Amanda’s experiences with the Aeta Filipino children. The EP also features other original songs and will release worldwide on all digital platforms March 3, 2017, along with a limited physical release. The project’s goal is to create a self-sufficient revenue stream using proceeds from the song’s downloads and streams to buy school supplies for the Aeta children of the Philippines.
