The online Reggae magazine Reggaeville is hosting the music video premiere for “EXILE,”  the first single from the upcoming full-length BAYONICS album RESILIENCE.

A raw and soulful Roots Reggae track about displacement, “EXILE” depicts the all too common experience of being forced from home in search of a new one. This simple performance video uses color and a ramping pace to create tension and amplify emotions, letting the lyrics paint the picture behind its central theme: a desperate search for the promise of a better life. Echoing this theme, the video is set in two contrasting worlds, one dark and smoky and the other bright and flashy.

TODAY – The 12th Annual OMINODAY MUSIC FESTIVAL at Jerry Garcia Amphitheater SF, featuring BAYONICS, JAH WARRIOR SHELTER, and more!

OMINODAY Music Festival has been a consistent space to provide a cultural and artistic haven for our community, our families and our youth. Inspired by the life and vision of Andrew “DJ Domino” Ele, OMINODAY celebrates his loving legacy as 
a youth advocate, community activist and talented DJ.

OminoDay in the Park began in 2007 in loving memory of Andrew “DJ Domino” Ele. DJ Domino was a youth advocate, community activist and a budding pillar in the community. He was an inspiration to many and strived to create spaces for people to gather, share positivity and heal through music. Over the years, OminoDay has grown to provide a cultural, artistic haven for families and communities of the southeast neighborhoods in San Francisco. Today, OminoDay celebrates arts, culture and community of southeast San Francisco neighborhoods and is one of the only home-grown, community-led music festivals in the area.

Our lineup this year will include bands, poets, dancers and DJs. As always, there will also be a space for information & resource tables, live art, kids’ activities, and food for the community.

Rest in peace, DJ Domino. OminoDay was his vision and continues to embody his loving legacy.

Today I would like to present the latest single by the award-winning aeronautical engineer, music producer and songwriter Dr. Chrispy (AKA Dr. Chris Boshulzen).  His new single “VOYAGER AT THE HELIOPAUSE” will release online everywhere music is streamed and sold on June 14, 2019. The single is a tribute to the NASA Voyager spacecraft that launched in 1977 and returns stunning images from our solar system that inspired Chris to pursue his passion for space.  I found this song to be very relaxing with piano, electronic sound, and great background.  I was well performed, written and recorded.  Looking forward to hearing rest of the album when released.
