For Immediate Release – San Francisco, CA – Independent artist and music producer SHERIDAN (aka Sheridan Carter Crane) continues a string of non-stop hits with the release of his new SPRING POPPY EP! The first of a seasonally themed four-EP project collectively categorized by genre, mood, and vibe, SPRING POPPY features six new songs including the recently released singles “WAKE UP,” “BAYSIDE,” and “TEARDROPS.” Available April 10, most of the SPRING POPPY EP was written and recorded over the last year in SHERIDAN’s Oakland apartment and entirely produced, mixed, and mastered by Jake Daniels. The EP series also features striking artwork by Olive Curreri across all releases.

SPRING POPPY sees SHERIDAN explore a brighter pop territory, while the next EP in the series Summer Home will feature more of his hip hop-based and upbeat sound. In 2022 SHERIDAN released an official music video for the first SPRING POPPY single “WAKE UP” that has so far amassed over 15k+ views! Directed by Cedric Letsch, the “WAKE UP” video is a cinematic and visually arresting piece of art that perfectly captures SHERIDAN’s smooth and dynamic vibes.

“WAKE UP” came following the release of his On Myself EP and “Toes Done” single (which also featured an amazing music video directed by Cedric Letsch that has so far reached over 14k+ views) that both dropped worldwide in 2021. The On Myself EP was produced by Jake Daniels and features BDT Don Pablo and Drae V on the powerful and commanding track “The Don” and Anthony Kannon on the heartfelt and introspective “Walk Away.” The EP’s opening track “Where’s the Ref?” was featured on Thizzler.com! Also released in December 2021 was the dubstep rap single “We Need Heroes” by Shrike! & Sheridan that landed a placement in the NBA2K22 video game soundtrack and has so far received over 60k+ streams on all platforms (including over 22k+ on Spotify alone)!

Born in Boulder, CO, but raised a few hundred miles north of New York City in Cortland, SHERIDAN is 24 years old and has spent the last several years writing, recording, and compiling a vast assortment of hip hop and pop musical compositions. Exposed to many styles of music growing up, SHERIDAN is an artist with many life experiences that continue to influence his music. All the songs from his On Myself EP were recorded at his home studio in Cortland within a year of being written, allowing you to hear exactly where SHERIDAN’s mind had been and what he was dealing with throughout the crazy post-pandemic time in the world. He now works from his own home studio in the Bay Area where he has recorded hundreds of tracks and continues to develop new material.

After the tragic loss of his mom in 2019, he decided it was finally time to put out his self-titled Sheridan Carter Crane. With a surplus of tracks to pick from, he chose a select few, including his mom’s favorites that would add to the story he was trying to tell, and filled in the blanks with new ideas inspired by the emotions he felt from her passing. Released on December 23, 2019, Sheridan Carter Crane is available worldwide on all digital platforms and received incredible response from blogs and reviewers including Upstate Aesthetic.

Over the last few years SHERIDAN has kept his focus on family, honoring his mother, and sharing his music with the world. He continues to work on multiple other projects while for the first time ever releasing tracks with other producers and is also co-host of a local music podcast run by Upstate Aesthetic. Expect much more from this sensational new artist in the months and years to come!

‘On Myself’ is easily the most stunning hip hop track I’ve heard this year. The cinematically arresting title single is the perfect introduction to the prolific artist’s soulfully evocative style. The tender piano keys which pick up jazz and neo-classical sensibilities in their progressions give ‘On Myself’ a stunning ambience, while the indie feel to the production allows SHERIDAN’s deeply resonant vocals to hit even harder.”

-A&R Factory

“From the instrumental lines to the vocals section, Sheridan’s “On Myself” exudes emotion. While the rhythmic tempo is dynamic, and perhaps accelerated, the overall climate is smooth, relaxed, mature. The same maturity that is noticed in the feelings that are manifested from the flowing and relaxed bars.”

“Barely out of high school, this rapper is right in the Internet star pocket. Youth speaking to youth, viral is a word that comes to mind here.”

-Midwest Record Review

“Opening on the one-two dubstep of Wheres The Ref? and the laid back, late night ambiance of The Don (feat. Don Pablo & Drae V), they are backed by the beautiful, free flowing majesty of Rewinds and the near acoustic rap-pop bounce of Hell. Next up is the rap-rocker Like You Did and the finger-snapppin Actin Funny, with this new EP rounding out on the swarthy Walk Away (feat. Anthony Kannon), closing on the quietly rhythmic R&B of the title track On Myself.”

-Exclusive Magazine

On Myself features eight tracks, beginning with Sheridan rolling through the poetic hip-hop-style lyrics of “Where’s The Ref?” without missing a beat. The album then moves toward an R&B direction with the smooth sounds of “Hell,” while “Like You Did” finds Sheridan stepping outside his comfort zone for this addictive alternative-pop melody. He wraps up his new album with strong, repetitive chorus of “Walk Away,” which is unforgettable, along with the mellow vibe of the album closer “On Myself.”

For Immediate Release – San Francisco, CA – Independent artist and music producer SHERIDAN (aka Sheridan Carter Crane) has recorded and released over 20 songs in the last two years, setting the stage for his new EP release ON MYSELF that drops worldwide in stores and online June 18, 2021. Born in Boulder, CO, but raised a few hundred miles north of New York City in Cortland, Upstate New York, SHERIDAN is 22 years old and has spent the last four years writing, recording, and compiling a vast assortment of hip hop and pop musical compositions. All the songs from the ON MYSELF EP were recorded within a year of being written back at his home studio in Cortland, allowing you to hear exactly where SHERIDAN’s mind has been lately and what he has been dealing with throughout this crazy time in the world. He now works from his own home studio in San Francisco where he has recorded hundreds of tracks and continues to develop new material.

Exposed to many styles of music growing up, SHERIDAN is an artist with many life experiences that continue to influence his music. When he first began writing and recording sometime during his junior year of high school in 2016, he never imagined he would be releasing his own original music and songs. His first true passion was basketball, and his heart was set on playing in college and eventually the NBA. “Making music my life wasn’t something I ever planned to do,” says SHERIDAN, “but music was something my life showed me I needed.”

Released on December 23, 2019, Sheridan Carter Crane is available worldwide on all digital platforms and has received incredible response from blogs and reviewers including Upstate Aesthetic and Not Ya Manz.

Over the last few years SHERIDAN has had multiple close friends pass away and has endured an unfortunate amount of heartbreak. In 2020, less than a month after moving to San Francisco to attend the production school Pyramind, he also had all his music equipment stolen in the moving process. Despite these setbacks, he has since rebuilt his home studio and kept his focus on family, honoring his mother, and sharing his music with the world.

SHERIDAN also continues to work on multiple other projects and for the first time ever is releasing tracks with other producers. He is also co-host of a local music podcast run by Upstate Aesthetic. The release of the new ON MYSELF EP marks an exciting milestone for SHERIDAN. Expect much more from this sensational new artist in the months and years to come.

“Overall, I just want to be seen as unapologetically being me. So whether you love it or hate it, shove it or break it…I just hope it made you feel.”  -Sheridan

His first true passion was basketball, and his heart was set on playing in college and eventually the NBA. “Making music my life wasn’t something I ever planned to do,” says SHERIDAN, “but music was something my life showed me I needed.”

Belgium Review: TECTONICBEATS Crafts Ornately Original Songs of Epic Scale with the Exclusive CD Release of His NIGHTINGALE EP

To purchase or stream the NIGHTINGALE EP please visit:

www.tectonicbeats.com

Translated: “Preserving a fun melody is an absolute priority for this American composer and music producer behind ‘TectonicBeats,’ which will please the fans of this kind of danceable electronic pop music.”

-Rootstime.be

Click Here to Listen to “Nightingale” – Released July 2, 2021!

Click Here to Listen to “Rosemary” – Released July 16, 2021!

Click Here to Listen to “Exemplar” – Released July 30, 2021!

For Immediate Release – San Francisco, CA – TectonicBeats is an American composer, music producer, and artist. He recently released his first series of groundbreaking original singles throughout July 2021, which are now collectively titled the NIGHTINGALE EP and released exclusively on CD with additional bonus material August 27, 2021! This new EP from TectonicBeats is an exploration of sound born out of the spirit of music and the power of technology. Known by his followers as “the synthmaster,” and for his hybridization of genres and expressive polyphonic composition, TectonicBeats is an earthquake and it’s off the Richter scale.

Born as Will Carney, TectonicBeats was conceived while Will was attending the electronic music production school Pyramind in San Francisco. He began selling his instrumental beats online and working with artists around the world including Destorm, Babatunde, and Brooklnn. Inspired by the new era in music, TectonicBeats began collaborating with labels, producers, and singers across genres from K-pop to hip hop and EDM.

In 2017 while in Los Angeles, TectonicBeats wrote and produced an instrumental EP and solo album. Then just prior to the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 he relocated his studio to Arizona and began collaborating with Australian singer Brooklnn. These sessions resulted in all three singles that now comprise the new NIGHTINGALE EP release, a project that sees TectonicBeats weave a delicate narrative seamlessly together with colossal themes to create a vast work of art.

The title track “NIGHTINGALE” released as a single on July 2, 2021, and is a vibrant, triumphant, and epic song that tells the story of a small hero you’d never expect and their story of survival. A story as old as time with a modern pop sound, the track takes the listener on a voyage to somewhere they’ve never been.

A hard-hitting pop song with a sensitive side, the next single “ROSEMARY” released July 16. Delightful melodies on top of a sensational beat make this song a powerful experience. With “Rosemary,” TectonicBeats explores new musical terrain boldly and playfully in ways that reimagine everything.

The last single in the series “EXEMPLAR” released July 30 and delivers an electric and psychedelic experience full of the sound of love and light. TectonicBeats has now assembled these tracks together with some additional material into the NIGHTINGALE EP, a limited edition CD set for release August 27, 2021.

TectonicBeats crafts songs of epic scale, ornately original and striking to the imagination. Get ready for a kaleidoscope of stimulation and a universe of creativity when TectonicBeats hits the scene in the summer of 2021!

“In this EP you can see how the music can be clouded and shaped by technology in a set of songs with strong rhythms, vibrant samples, female vocals that stand out and with an approach to unconventional pop and quite heavy. Within this electronic music genre that will work well on the dance floors, Nightingale assumes an epic posture and with originality and imagination.”

-Via Nocturna

“Nightingale,” “Rosemary” and “Exemplar,” have their finger on the pulse of today’s pop music. The other three tracks featured on this release are the instrumental versions of those songs, which highlight the talents of composer/producer TectonicBeats.”

-JP’s Music Blog

“Californian synthmaster resurrects retrofuturistic psychedelia and puts a contemporary spin on crepuscular tunes. Vocals taking aural space by force on the EP’s title track, its punchy electronica doesn’t hurry to impress the listener or drive them under a glitter ball until the cut’s soulful chorus ruffles one psyche to expose the arrangement’s nuances, letting seductively supple, if insistent, bass to the fore once the words are gone. And though the triumphant pop of “Rosemary” seems slightly patinated, the piece’s deliberate bleakness is balanced with the retro sound’s warmth, while the ever-shifting melodic lines render “Exemplar” a mindboggling experience. So the shuffling of feet might be optional here, but deriving guilty pleasure from this hat-trick feels mandatory.”

-Let It Rock, DMME.net

“A modern version of synth pop by a do it all electronic cat that knows what really smells like teen spirit. A crafty confectionist, this is now pop for now people.”

-Midwest Record Entertainment Blog

“It’s on the money.”

-Record Producer Joel Diamond

“This is great stuff.”

-Al Gomes at BigNoise

“I really love the direction TectonicBeats is going.”

-DJ Max Vangeli

“From the instrumental lines to the vocals section, Sheridan’s “On Myself” exudes emotion. While the rhythmic tempo is dynamic, and perhaps accelerated, the overall climate is smooth, relaxed, mature. The same maturity that is noticed in the feelings that are manifested from the flowing and relaxed bars.”

A unique visual experience featuring music from the release along with some old favorites and special guests, the SHERIDAN “ON MYSELF” IDC Virtual Event was broadcast on YouTube July 2, 2021!

The ON MYSELF EP also features BDT Don Pablo and Drae V on the powerful and commanding track “The Don” and Anthony Kannon on the heartfelt and introspective “Walk Away.” The first single “Where’s the Ref?” releases online May 28, and SHERIDAN will also broadcast an ON MYSELF VIRTUAL EVENT release show via YouTube on July 2. The virtual event will be a unique visual experience featuring music from the release along with some old favorites and special guests.

Announcing the Release of the Second SQUEAKEY STUDIOS EP OUR FRIENDSHIP WAS WAY AHEAD OF ITS TIME

Check out this great new release from SQUEAKEY STUDIOS!

Featuring seven new tracks from the gang upstairs at SQUEAKEY STUDIOS

In the follow-up to their debut EP Eventually, We’re All Golden, the SQUEAKEY STUDIOS crew located up there among the trees continues their steady stream of releases, working not only in the purely digital realm, but also in that tried and true guitar/bass/drums/voice format. They now drop a wide-ranging smorgasbord of engagingly elliptical songs collectively titled OUR FRIENDSHIP WAS WAY AHEAD OF ITS TIME, including REDAKTR’s retro dawn-of-the-air-age hypnosis “Mr. Aeroplane,” the lonesome Nashville whine of Seth Framer on “You Drive Me Into The Middle Of Next Week,” and his whisky-swilling cautionary banger “No No No.”

Additionally, for this EP, REDAKTR is releasing two intricate in-the-box beat-heavy instrumental meditations: “The Invention Of One” and “The Master Key.”

REDAKTR and Seth Framer also expand their collaboration with the dreamy and unexpected “Free For A Minute,” and the gritty first-person stream-of-consciousness rocker “Redeemed In The Sanctity (You Gotta Have It Even).”

SQUEAKEY STUDIOS: In a creaky third-floor flat, surrounded by big old trees, they stuffed in an array of instruments and work when they can between school, jobs and all those other duties that make up an everyday life. They track mostly during the day, and their neighbors kindly put up with them. When SQUEAKEY STUDIOS added the little sub to the monitor layout, they knew they would have to tread lightly, at least sonically.

REDAKTR is an amalgam of unwilling and sometimes unruly musicians who love any good song. You gotta own it: Karen Carpenter had an incredible voice and even The Partridge Family hired the best. Working together or separately, REDAKTR makes it up as it goes along. Few of us have a plan, and even fewer of us know what that plan might be.

Seth Framer took the first train out and, when that didn’t get them all the way, ditched the suitcase, and went it alone. From the Great Western Range to the Gulf Stream, from the Galveston beaches to the Quetico waters and all points in between, Seth Framer has focused on the One, keeping their fingers clean, and washing their mouth out with soap on an all-too-regular regular basis. There aren’t enough pages for the stories Seth Framer tells, and there never will be.

Available now on all music platforms and wherever you consume music.
